This month we feature an
Aussie Ford Transit !!
Restoration project by Richard Coles
Pictured with his latest project at
the Brisbane ‘All British’ Show in
September.
Our members will usually associate
Richard with Cortinas some of
which he has brought
to
our RCC
Car Shows over the years.
I
have two Transit vans
at the moment. One
I
use as a daily driver,
MK2 SWB van with a
2-litre pinto in it and a
4-speed with over drive
auto transmission.
The second is a 1970
MK1 swb which
I
am in
the middle of restoring.
This will have a stock
looking appearance but
updated engine and
gearbox. plus drive
train.
Here are some pictures
of my MK2, you may
see me around the
place.
I
am in the Brisbane
area but drove it up to
Nambour Swap a few
weeks ago.
