A LETTER and INVITATION FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Roadrunner Car Club Members
Our Annual General Meeting will be held in 3 weeks time: Sunday 19th
October.
This is the event where we review the past year and plan for the future.
Your Officers of the Club and the Sub-Committee Co-ordinators will
present their reports on a busy 12 months and we have had many
successful functions and events.
This is your opportunity to comment upon these activities and make
suggestions for future events, projects and ventures.
Although primarily a CAR CLUB, we are also a SOCIAL CLUB which
comfortably accepts all models and marques of cars and motorcycles.
All members are invited to raise any subject at the AGM but it must be
included on the Agenda which will be sent out to Members 7 days before
the event. There will be no ‘Any Other Business’.
To be included, your subject matter MUST be received by the
Secretary in writing no later than 5th October [14 days before the
meeting].

Also at the AGM voting will take place for Officers of the Club.
Nominations must be received by 5th October. Nomination forms available
on our RCC website and should be submitted to the Secretary by mail or
email.
Remember only Financial Members on 19th October 2025 may vote at the
AGM.
In social discussion with various members, many have said “I do not have
enough time to do Committee work”. If your current committee members
all said the same thing you would not have a functioning Club!!!
The old hackneyed saying – many hands make light work – is true.
Spreading the responsibilities amongst a happy and dedicated team is not
stressful, and indeed can be enjoyable and sociable.
