ADVANCED NOTICE
ROADRUNNER CAR CLUB Inc
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
VENUE : Cooroy RSL,
Maple Street, Cooroy
DATE : Sunday 20th October
TIME : 10am
The Annual General Meeting is an important
occasion for members to gather and discuss the
past year and the running of the Club for the next
12 months.
So many of our members have so much to offer
the Club.
Holding an Office and helping to run the Club for
the benefit of other members is a very rewarding
task. There is a great feeling of camaraderie and
‘getting involved’ is stimulating and satisfying.
At the AGM Members also need to elect the
Officers of the Club
for the coming year : 2024/5.
The positions currently are :
President – Ken McGregor
Vice President – Will Johns
Secretary – Judy Bickley
Treasurer – John Hewitt
Under the rules of our Constitution the Officers
are restricted to a maximum term of 3 years.
Judy Bickley and John Hewitt are not standing
for re-election under those terms of duty.
Therefore all Members are tasked to urgently
discuss nominations for
SECRETARY and TREASURER.
These are important, in fact VITAL, roles and
the Club is not able to
continue to function without them.
The PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT may
be re-elected if Members propose them, but if
anyone else wishes to volunteer to stand for one
of these positions, or to nominate someone else,
you may do so.
If more than one Member is nominated for a role
then a vote may be taken by a show of hands or
by secret ballot.
The SUB-COMMITTEE members are
appointed by the Management Team.
Currently all are willing to continue in their
roles. However, Members are able to
volunteer for these positions, or to be
involved in a supporting role.

SIV Registration : John McGovern
Social Co-Ordinator : Michel Rety
Editor + Website Co-ordinator : Myra Doyle
Assets Manager : Sam Spink
Charity Car Show - Chairman :
and IT Support : Graeme Block
You are reminded that to vote at the AGM
you must be a fully paid up Member on that
date. All Memberships are individual and
therefore couples and partners can vote
separately providing BOTH are fully paid
Members.
If there is more than one nomination for any
post there will be a vote either by show of
hands or by secret ballot.
Nomination forms will be available 4 weeks
before the AGM but in the meantime you are
all urged to discuss the vital roles of
Secretary and Treasurer and who will fill
them.
It should be noted that this is not just a club
for the boys ! All nominations are open to
everyone including our valued lady members.
DON’T SIT ON THE SIDE-LINES : BE
INVOLVED IN THE ORGANISATION OF
OUR FLOURISHING CLUB FOR
CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.
