Notice of
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
VENUE : Cooroy RSL,
Maple Street, Cooroy
DATE : Sunday 20th October
TIME : 10am
The Annual General Meeting is an important
occasion for members to gather and discuss the
past year and the running of the Club for the next
12 months.
At the AGM Members need to elect the
Officers of the Club
for the coming year : 2024/5.
The positions are currently held by :
President – Ken McGregor
Vice President – Will Johns
Secretary – Judy Bickley
Treasurer – John Hewitt
All Members are tasked to urgently discuss
nominations for these Officers which are
VITAL roles and the Club is not able to
continue to function without them.
Please be aware that Secretary, Judy Bickley and
Treasurer, John Hewitt are not standing for re-
election.
The President and Vice President may stand
again if Members nominate them, but if anyone
else wishes to volunteer to stand for one of these
positions, or to nominate someone else, you may
do so.
Holding an Office and helping to run the Club for
the benefit of other members is a very rewarding
task. There is a great feeling of camaraderie and
‘getting involved’ is stimulating and satisfying.
If more than one Member is nominated for a role
then a vote may be taken by a show of hands or
by secret ballot.

SUBMITTED TO THE SECRETARY
BY 6th OCTOBER 2024 –
14 DAYS BEFORE THE AGM.

CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.
It should be noted that this is not just a
club for the boys! All nominations are
open to everyone including our valued
lady members.
Nomination forms are available now on
the RCC website or from the Secretary.
You are reminded that to vote at the AGM
you must be a fully paid up Member on that
date. All Memberships are individual and
therefore couples and partners can vote
separately providing BOTH are fully paid
Members.
If there is more than one nomination for any
post there will be a vote either by show of
hands or by secret ballot.
If you are unable to get to the meeting
PROXY forms are also available on the
RCC website.
The SUB-COMMITTEE members are
appointed by the Management Team.
Currently all are willing to continue in their
roles. However, Members are able to
volunteer for these positions, or to be
involved in a supporting role.
