ROADRUNNER CAR CLUB AGM :: SEPTEMBER 17th 2023
There was an impressive turn out of members for our 2023 Annual General Meeting with 50 members crowding the room. It was a relaxed social occasion as many came before-hand for lunch.
A prompt 1pm start and everyone settled down to listen to the 9 reports on all aspects of club activities during the year.
Nobody raised any general business so the committee ‘stood down’ and elections for officers began.
All nominations had been received 14 days in advance and no positions were contested apart from that of President. Over 20% of Members voted for a secret ballot and Ken McGregor was elected to the role.
Sub-committee positions were nominated but appointed by the Management Committee.

The incoming President addressed the meeting and thanked Roger Weeks, the retiring President, for his hard work during the past year and presented him with a token of appreciation from the members.
The business concluded, everyone enjoyed a delightful tea, and more conversation before breaking up about 4pm.
