KATIE ROSE COTTAGE HOSPICE RECENTLY RECEIVED
$1.5 MILLION FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GRANT
A vital boost of $1.5 million has been given to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice at Doonan by the Federal Government to expand its services for the terminally ill in Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. The grant will allow two new rooms to be added to the three already there, a second lounge room, a new administration room and storage room. The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce who visited the hospice on 10th January. He said expanding the service would ensure more locals get appropriate care at the right time.
