PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello everyone
At our first Management Meeting of 2022 we welcomed in the New Year with a positive view that we will see the end of the dreaded COVID-19, which has caused so much disruption to our lives over the last 2 years.
I would like to offer a warm welcome to our new Members, and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Please use the Club website as your primary source of information and I trust you will enjoy getting involved in all our Club activities – do not hesitate to speak to myself or any of the committee if there is anything you want help with.
New Zealand Trip February 2022 : Cancelled
Due to the New Zealand Government closing the borders, unfortunately we had no choice but to cancel the trip.
I am now in discussions to have the deposits refunded.
In a year or two, we can look again at going on what promised to be a wonderful experience visiting the Art Deco Festival and Americana Festival as well as seeing and exploring the North Island.
We now look ahead to all the social events planned for the year and I look forward to seeing you there.
