‘SHOW AND SHINE’ and LUNCH at
the APOLLONIAN HOTEL BOREEN POINT
Prizes and awards
All category winners received a special Trophy + a Bowden’s Car Care pack + a bottle of Champagne + a jar of Vegemite.
The Lucky draw prize was a $50 voucher from the ‘Saw & Mill Restaurant’ in Cooroy
+ a Bowden’s pack + Vegemite.
The Caption Competition winner received a $25 Den Murphy Voucher.

50 cars were on display on
the Apollonian Hotel lawn and members flocked around the vehicles to vote for the
various categories on offer. Fortunately the rain kept away until we were leaving for home and although humid the verandas and outdoor seating areas were packed with people enjoying
delicious food.
Thanks must go to the Apollonian staff for keeping us all well supplied!
There was a lengthy but enjoyable presentation session with high applause for the deserving winners along with much laughter and good natured banter.
The ‘dotty system’ for category voting worked well thanks to the organisers and parking attendants/directors who enabled the whole day to go without a hitch. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes beforehand for these events and it is appreciated.
It is possible that the weather forecast might have deterred a few members from turning up along with the threat of Covid numbers rising.
Roll on next year when we can do it all again.
