Noosa Charity Car Show 2021 : Sunday 3rd October Report from Graeme Adams Show Event Director
It was a magnificent day at Chaplin Park, Noosaville with the backdrop of the beautiful Noosa River for the staging of our annual Noosa Charity Car Show.
The day was a tremendous success, with a lot of positive feedback on the variety of over 120 cars and motorbikes that created a great display. The random layout created a great atmosphere.
I would like to thank all those who participated in the planning and those who assisted in many ways during the day by getting to the site early and helping with the set-up, parking management, and assisting in the Club Tent – as well as after the event with the pack up and clearing of the site.
A special mention to the team from Katie Rose Cottage Hospice who managed the very busy entry gates and their very successful raffle that they ran on the day.
The Judging Team headed up by Will Johns, did an excellent job getting down to three winners out of so many magnificent entrants. Thank you to Scott Hamlin from Noosa Van Lines Removals & Storage for choosing the ‘Best Motorbike in Show’, another wide selection to choose from.
The success of the show would not have been possible without, our many generous sponsors, local community groups and volunteers.
The Roadrunner Car Club hosts this Show annually with all proceeds going to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice which this year was approx $12,000.
We hope you enjoyed our special edition of the Beep Beep from Myra Doyle showcasing this successful event.

The Gos Cory Trophy
Gos was a well-liked and
respected member who died
suddenly from a heart attack in
2019. We hope his memory lives
on with members who knew him
and to this end we have dedicated
the Roadrunner Club ‘Best in
Show’ trophy to perpetuate his name and in his honour. The trophy is kept on permanent display at the Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.
Comment from
Carol Raye – Chair, Katie Rose Cottage Hospice
As Chair of KRCH can I say a BIG ‘thank you’ to all the Roadrunner Car Club management team for their dedication to the Charity Car Show and to the Club members for their support in bringing their beautiful cars along. A thank you too, to the sponsors whose support made the day so successful, along with Noosa Tewantin Lions for the BBQ and other food vendors who added to the atmosphere.
I would also like to thank the KRCH volunteers who worked on the day and a ‘special thank you’ to the community who always come out and support ‘their’ Hospice – everyone together, helped make it a great day raising approx $12,000 ...a great result.
