PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello Roadrunners
Firstly, a warm welcome to our new members and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Please use the Club website as your primary source of information. I trust you will enjoy getting involved and don’t hesitate to speak to myself or any of the committee if there is anything you want help with.
Noosa Charity Car Show 2022
The event for 2022 is set for the Sunday 2nd October and once again in support of Katie Rose Cottage Hospice – venue will be the same location of Chaplin Park in Noosaville.
Distinguished Gentlemen’s Drive
We are planning to host the DGD again in 2022 to be held on the 25th September.
New Zealand Trip in February 2022
This event was postponed in 2021 due to COVID restrictions. Whilst things were looking positive for 2022 in relation to COVID and travel restrictions, unfortunately New Zealand has closed the borders to Australia until April 2022.
This unfortunately means that our Trip for 2022 is no longer possible; I am now seeking a refund of deposits paid.
We might be able to revisit this trip after 2022 once travel restrictions allow.
Motorsport Australia Affiliation
Roadrunner car Club is now an Affiliated Enthusiast Club of Motorsport Australia – formally CAMS.
This means our insurance is covered by MA and we have access to many benefits including Official training. More information will be provided soon.
