JUDGING
Will congratulated all the winners... President Ken McGregor watching on.
Report by Will Johns (Judging official)
Well the weather-gods smiled down on us for the running of our charity car show on 1st October. A warm sunny day provided a near perfect opportunity to show off a great array of superb cars and bikes.
I would like to thank all the volunteers for assisting with the running of this event in particular my team of Judges – Mick, Ken, David, Doc, Peter, John, Paul and Rod. These guys had a very difficult job to perform as the standard of vehicles was exceptional this year I believe. Around 100 vehicles on display were arranged in age related groups around the park to allow free viewing by members of the public. This grouping provided a Travel Thru Time opportunity as people moved from one group to another around the park.
Prizes were awarded to Best Car in each group with the Car of the Show chosen from the group winners. These results are tabulated elsewhere in this Special Edition of the Club’s Beep Beep Bulletin along with photos of the lucky owners.
Hope everyone had a super time and we all look forward to 2024...
Cheers – Will Leader of the Judging Team
