PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello Roadrunners
Firstly, a warm welcome to our new members and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and I trust you will enjoy getting involved.
Please use the Club website as your primary source of information and do not hesitate to speak to me, or any of the committee, if there is anything you want help with.
Noosa Charity Car Show
Now that we have confirmed the new date for the Car Show as the 3rd October 2021, work is well under way with the final planning.
This promises to be a fantastic event and I would encourage all members who have not yet done so, to register to display their special cars. Register on the Club website.
New Treasurer appointed
The casual vacancy of Treasurer has been filled thanks to John Hewitt who volunteered to take on the role. Thank you very much John! We are sure the Club’s finances are in good hands.
Distinguished Gentlemen’s Drive
As I write this letter, planning is well advanced, and the donations are rolling in. For those who have donated thank you very much for supporting this great cause.
Thanks to John Hewitt for volunteering to fill the post of Club Treasurer!
On the 19th September we ‘tested the course’ with a ‘Dry Run’ of ten cars and eighteen people who travelled the route and had a very enjoyable day on great roads.
The event will have been completed by the time you read this so I will give a further update later. There are also pictures elsewhere in this issue of Beep Beep and many photos will be on our website.
Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party is on Saturday 4th December, if you have not already booked your place please do so as soon as possible as we can only fit a maximum of 120 people.
This is always an enjoyable, fun night with good friends and great food.
