... from the President ... Hello fellow Roadrunners
Great news we now have a new Social Co-ordinator – Michel Rety – please welcome him and he will need all our support as this is a challenging position.
More great news, Graeme Block put his hand up to organise the 2024 Charity Car Show after hearing Graeme Adams had stepped down. The Management Committee were delighted to accept the offer and various other members are keen to assist him.
The SMB was very well attended at the Pool Café and the highlight was Frank Carroll arriving in his military vehicle – guns blazing! [see page 8] Also the November handbrakes was very good with another large gathering at The Doonan.
On Sunday 12th November we had a very enjoyable drive to Somerset Dam for a combined picnic with the British Ford Car Club of Queensland with 42 club members registered – a good day with some interesting cars. A very HOT drive in my open top car!
We are now approaching the Christmas period which is a busy time with Club events and the Festive Season generally.
I will reiterate, that as your President I am available to contact at any time...
