Our numbers were a tad depleted for the February morning tea at Moffat Beach due to the heavy rain, however the five ladies and five men who braved the terrible conditions all had a great time. The venue was excellent with gorgeous cakes and great coffee, so we will add this to our list for another visit in the future.

The monthly lady-members morning tea meeting held on the last Friday of each month was styled ‘Handbrakes’ by the ladies a few years ago.
Covid and bad weather has unfortunately kept the numbers down recently, but our monthly average turn-out has been 25+ over the years.
Not all of our lady members drive, so it is usual for another table in the café to be full of the ‘chauffeurs’ – with lots of gossip all round.
You can imagine there is always lots of topics of conversation but some members have also started swapping books and recipes and it is amazing how many different hobbies they do between them. And surprise surprise, conversation does even turn to cars now and again...
Do come along to the April meeting – details are adjacent.
There is no charge to attend – just what you decide to spend on your coffee and cake or other personal treats.
Incidentally, ladies who are not members, but a partner or wife of a male member, will be very welcome to these events as well.
It is primarily a social gathering for all our ladies to get to know each other.
