PRESIDENT’S SEPTEMBER REPORT Hello Roadrunners
We have enjoyed another month of great activities and the planning for the Noosa Charity Car Show and Distinguished Gentlemen’s Drive is well underway.
It’s really good to see many new members coming along to our events and making new friends.
Noosa Charity Car Show and
Distinguished Gentlemen’s Drive
I would encourage all members to get behind both of the Club’s major events and register your car for the Car Show and register your participation in the DGD. (Pre 80s cars or you may be able to use a car that is a continuation of a Pre 80s car model and retains the same look.
Midweek Club run
We recently had a Club run midweek (Friday) as a trial to see if this might be something we could do more often. The Drive was well supported, and we enjoyed the quieter roads, and the destination venue was also not busy. This will be discussed again at the next Management Meeting – if you have a view, please let me know.
Please keep up to date with upcoming events on the Club Website where you will see a full calendar of events for the rest of the year.
Event ideas
Any member who has an idea for an event and would like to organise one, please discuss with Judy Bickley. New ideas are always welcome and it’s good for others to get involved in the organising.
Club AGM
We are planning to have the Club AGM on Sunday 6th November, so put this date in your calendar – the event will be listed on the Club Website very soon with full details.
