I would also like to see in future that the Vice President be elected on the understanding that they will be willing to take over from an outgoing President to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, with clear understanding of the operation of the Club and Committee: the outgoing President would also be there to support the new President.
All other positions are Management Appointed and ongoing, however if a member wishes to nominate for one of these positions (or to be assistant) they are welcome to do so.
I am happy to continue as Webmaster with Myra Doyle learning the website with a view to taking over when she is comfortable – this makes a lot of sense as there are many synergies between the Magazine and the Website.
I would encourage all members to seriously consider getting involved and nominating for a position because it is only with renewal and fresh ideas that the Club will continue to prosper.

We encourage all members to attend to receive reports on progress of the club to date and to be involved in the election of office bearers and the future of the club.
Very informal, very interesting and very important for you attend your Club's Annual General Meeting on Sunday 6th November at 1.00pm.
Informal Lunch will be available at RSL prices beforehand if you wish.
If you wish to participate in organising or contributing to your Club's management feel free to nominate for a committee position or just pass on any suggestions or comments.
