Carol Raye – Chair, Katie Rose Cottage Hospice
On behalf of KRCH I would like to thank the Roadrunner Car Club for all the effort they put in to organising this event each year. We are very pleased to be recognised as the charity for this event.
Sadly, the weather was against us in 2022 and 'it rained on our parade' thus making it a challenge for all!!
A special mention to all those who helped on the morning, in the rain, and the car owners who came along to show their best to the spectators who braved the day, with umbrellas! Thank you too to the wonderful food vans who kept us fed and watered ...the coffee was a big hit!
We are blessed to have such a beautiful Hospice in our community and it is community groups such as the Roadrunner Car Club who continue to assist us to provide quality, professional 'end of life' care to those facing a terminal illness.

Noosa Charity Car Show 2022 : Sunday 2nd October Report from Graeme Adams Show Event Manager
This year’s event was once again staged at Chaplin Park, Noosaville. It was a drizzly day, but this did not stop a large amount of exhibitors coming along to put on a show despite the conditions. The volunteer crew were there from 6am and had all the site set up by 7am as cars and motorbikes began to arrive. The spectator gates opened at 8am and as the drizzle lifted slightly spectators began to arrive.
Even though spectator and exhibitor numbers were down on last year as a result of the disappointing weather, the day was a tremendous success with a lot of positive feedback on the variety and quality of the cars and motorbikes – and the spacious random layout was a hit once again!
I would like to thank all those who assisted in so many ways before and during the day. The Judging Team headed up by Will Johns did an excellent job in selecting a well deserved winner in each category.
The success of the Show would not have been possible without our many generous sponsors, vendors, local community groups and volunteers.
The Roadrunner Car Club hosts this Show annually with all proceeds going to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice which this year was approx. $4,000.
We hope you enjoy this special show edition of the Beep Beep Club Magazine from Myra Doyle our very talented and hardworking Editor – and we look forward to next year’s event.
Regards Graeme Adams
The Gos
Cory Trophy
Gos was a well-
liked and respected
member who died
suddenly from a heart attack in 2019. We hope his memory lives on with members who knew him and to this end we have dedicated the Roadrunner Club ‘Best in Show’ trophy to perpetuate his name and in his honour.
The trophy is kept on permanent display at the Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.
