PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello Roadrunners
Welcome all new members, I am sure you will enjoy participating the club activities and I encourage you to join in where possible and speak to any of the committee at any time should you need any information or assistance.
If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to contact me or any of the management committee.
It is so good to see so many members participating at our events. We are regularly getting large numbers with almost 80 recently attending the Gympie Gold Museum and Kin Kin lunch run.
Again, I remind members that we are approaching our membership cap, so if you intend joining a partner/ spouse or friend, please do so before we get to the cap and we need to decline applications and add them to a waiting list.
Ladies Coffee Mornings
There has been some discussion recently about the name ‘Handbrakes’ used to describe the ladies morning coffee group and whether to continue with this name, or not, and whether to continue with these as ‘ladies only’ events.
By now you will be aware that this prompted the Management Committee to instigate a survey of the lady members to get their thoughts and guidance on the matter, so we can ensure that we are meeting their expectations.
The result of the survey are on page 14. But further discussion can be reviewed again by the members in due course if required.
Eumundi on a Sunday – Cruze-in (Cars and Coffee)
This event continues to grow in the number of attendees and the amazing cars that are coming along. We encourage all Roadrunner Car Club members to join in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and mixing with a wide cross section of car enthusiasts from across the Sunshine Coast.
Come for Breakfast or just Morning Coffee, you could even stay for lunch at one of the many eateries in Eumundi. If there is enough interest, we could make a club booking.

Noosa Charity Car Show 2021
Register Your Car / Motorcycle Now!
Our Noosa Charity Car Show is fast approaching, and I encourage all members to register your cars and motorcycles as soon as possible as there are limited spaces available, and we also need to know how many guest vehicles to invite.
Remember this event is primarily for member’s vehicles, but we will have invited guests with an emphasis on only high-quality cars and motorcycles. Vehicles will be judged, and trophies will be presented to the lucky winners, see the club website for more information.
Please get behind this Charity fundraiser event, with all proceeds going to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.
