at WILLOWBANK

It was another big turn-out for the annual All Ford Day at Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway with models from all years.
I made the trip out in the Model T which was a lot of fun although I can’t imagine doing it in it’s original form : haha!
Some very rare models included a supercharged Cortina Wagon belonging to Richard and Joan Coles who are family to our Beep Beep Editor Myra Doyle.
The drag races were interesting with plenty of beefed-up street cars setting some blistering times and speed.
The swap meet is always good for a browse and I managed to purchase a model Bugatti for our one and only Bugatti owner/member Mick Freestone. See photo.
As always it’s nice to catch up with friends and the ever present crew from Bowdens Own.
