PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello everyone
I would like to offer a warm welcome to our new Members, and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Please use the Club website as your primary source of information and I trust you will enjoy getting involved and do not hesitate to speak to myself or any of the committee if there is anything you want help with.
Cooroy Sunday Cruize-In : Replacing – Sunday Cruize-In at Eumundi
Unfortunately, the Original Eumundi Market Assoc withdrew its invitation to use their space that we have been using for around 9 months without incident or problem.
It appears that a change in personnel within the Association has caused a rethink and caused this. I believe it to be a very short-sighted decision, made without due regard to the business we bring to the local traders.
Following, and after discussions with Cooroy Chamber of Commerce, we have made the decision to relocate the Cruize-In, to a car park space in Maple Street, suggested by the Chamber. This location is close to the RSL, between ‘Bloom Hill Op Shop’ and the ‘Cooroy Kindergarten’, which allows for around 40 cars with any overflow parking along Maple Street itself.
Even though we only provided reasonably short notice of the change to participants via social media, our first Cooroy Sunday Cruize-In was a great success with around 48 cars attending and there has been good membership feedback about the new location.
The German Bakehouse also did a roaring trade and I expect many other businesses will be open and benefit from the influx of people next month.
Member Survey
You will be aware we recently conducted a Member Survey which is used to guide your Management Committee in running the Club and ensure we are meeting Club members expectations.
We are very pleased with the Survey results and the feedback, which confirms we are on the right track.

Our Social Committee has been working very hard to organise the many great events that are coming up and I urge all members to join in.
As always, your Management Committee members are available at all times for feedback, suggestions and general questions or assistance required by members.
