THE USUAL SUSPECTS
JETT REYNOLDS
KILPATRICK
Jett Reynolds is more than a usual suspect when it comes to racing at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch -- in recent years, the Californian could be considered as Tennessee’s most wanted. He caught fire back in 2013 in his last season on a Cobra, clinching both titles in the 65cc (7-9) Limited class and the 51cc (7-8) Limited class. That was just the beginning for the Team Green Kawasaki rider as he’s gone on an unprecedented streak of domination over the past four years, winning eight national titles in a row at the Ranch. There’s been rumors of Reynolds making an appearance on the famed Loretta Lynn’s Wall that runs parallel with the start straight, placing him in the company of legendary riders such as Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Mike Alessi, Davi Millsaps, and so forth. The Team Dunlop Elite rider has already established himself as an amateur sensation and is well on course to break the record of most Loretta Lynn’s titles (11) before he makes the transition to the professional ranks. The Californian seems to know when to back it down and when to turn it up, winning various titles with his consistency and/or his speed. He’s been in spectacular form throughout the 2017 thus far, capturing upwards of ten national titles throughout the season. Reyn- olds qualified for Loretta’s spectacularly in the 85cc (9-12) class as well as the Mini Sr. 1 (12-13) class, clinching both overall victories in relatively effortless fashion. All eyes will be on the thirteen year-old throughout the week of racing in Hurricane Mills, witnessing a special talent that is slated to rewrite the history books.
