JUSTIN COOPER
Justin Cooper had a breakout performance at the Ranch in 2015, sweeping the College (16-24) class and the now defunct Two-Stroke (16+) to capture the first two Loretta Lynn’s National Championships of his career. The New Yorker was expected to add to his win tally last year in the A class, but a first turn crash at the beginning of the week left him on the sidelines with a broken wrist and a bad back. Cooper bas been out for redemption after recovering from the injury, raking in number one plates from the east coast to the west. The Ya- maha / Rock River / bLU cRU rider showcased his impeccable indoor skillset by winning AMSOIL AX East Coast Lites Championship with consistent results and a handful of victories. Between the Daytona RCSX, the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, and the Cal Classic; he only finished off the overall podium in one of his classes, racking up two titles in the process. Cooper’s currently on an impressive twelve-moto undefeated streak following his domination of the Ironman Mid-East Regional and the fiftieth running of Mammoth Mountain Motocross -- will the Yamaha backed stand out be able to avenge last year’s results and keep his streak alive to earn another number one plate in his final season as an amateur?
