AIDEN TIJERO
Aiden Tijero had an outstanding year at Lo- retta Lynn’s in 2013 on 65s, earning a num- ber one plate in the (10-11) Limited class and an additional fourth place overall in the (7-11) class. His results were even more impressive at the time considering he had never broken the top ten in previous years of competition, but it took the Californian a brief time period to readjust after missing 2014. Tijero looked to be back in his previ- ous form last year by earning the second podium of his Loretta Lynn’s career with a third place finish in the Supermini 2 class
in addition to a ninth place in the Super- mini 1 class. The Orange Brigade backed rider has made another step forward since moving onto the bigger bike as he recorded some extremely solid results throughout spring nationals. Tijero snagged a trio of top five finishes at Oak Hill including a po- dium result in the 125 2 Stroke class, and then moved onto the incredibly competitive JS7 Freestone Spring Championship to earn another podium in the Schoolboy 1 class. After scoring a couple more podium finishes at JuniorMotoX and an overall victory at the Washougal Regional, Tijero is ready to put his KTM back on the podium this year at the Ranch.

CARSON MUMFORD
Throughout his blossoming career, Carson Mumford has obtained seven overall po- diums at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships. Among the plethora of podiums that he’s achieved, the Californian has earned two number one plates at the Ranch, placing him in an exclusive club
of amateur motocross glory. The AMSOIL Factory Connection Honda rider hasn’t finished worse than fifth overall in his last two outings in Hurricane Mills, doing so in the overly competitive Supermini 2 class last year. It took him a while to adapt his riding style to the CRF150 after switching from Team Green Kawasaki at the end of 2015 season, but his recent results prove that he’s made the necessary progress
to find his way back to the top step at Lo- retta’s. The Team Dunlop Elite rider ended the 2016 season with four titles at the
Thor Winter Olympics, splitting the spoils between both disciplines of racing. He attempted to carry the momentum into the new year, but a broken arm in late Febru- ary set him back and disjointed his rhythm. Nonetheless, a solid showing in his home state at the California Classic earned him
a couple of second place overall finishes in both Supermini classes, setting his season back on track. After scoring a pair of run- ner-up finishes at the Washougal Regional qualifier, Mumford is ready to do battle this year at the Ranch where he will gunning for his third Loretta Lynn’s National Title.
