NICK ROMANO
Nick Romano is one of the most successful amateur riders currently gearing up for the Amateur National Championships at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. The Team Green Kawasaki rider has not only experienced the prestige of Loretta Lynn’s titles and podium finishes, but he’s also racked up thirty national titles to his name throughout his young career. The native New Yorker migrated down to the warmer climate of Florida during the offseason and the move obviously paid off as he grabbed a number one plate in the 85cc (9-11) class at the Daytona RCSX. Unfortunately, Romano suffered a minor injury training in Florida following the event and he was forced to the sidelines for the rest of the spring na- tionals, but burst back onto the scene in the familiar settings of the north east just in time to stamp his authority on the Englishtown Youth Regional. Romano scored a first place overall finish in the 85cc (9-11) Limited class and a second place finish in the 85cc (9-12) class, reminding his competitors that he won’t be satisfied until he earns the second Loretta Lynn’s title of his career. The Team Dunlop Elite rider has found himself on the podium every time he’s shown up at the Ranch barring his first outing in 2011, will 2017 be any different?
