>> Josh Grant came back to race at the US Bank Arena after dislocating his thumb two weeks’ prior at round 5. Qualifying overall in 15th place the Kawasaki rider was ready to take
on his heat race. With his 8th gate pick Grant charges out front into 4th position for the hole shot. Standing his ground against Alessi, Josh inches forward to catch Dean Wilson. Holding onto that transfer position Grant sits comfortably as he goes on to take 4th place in heat race #2 of the night. Main event the Monster Energy Kawasaki riders takes the 14th gate pick. Taking charge like true Grant style, he takes the fourth position as the come into the first corner after the gate drops. The Kawasaki rider’s top 5 position is short lived as he drops down to 14th in the first lap. Powering on Grant works towards the front. After battling for positions Grant ends up in 14th place after not competing at Arlington last week.
