Moto two started much better for Johnson as he rounded lap one in fourth place. He quickly moved up
to third and even got up to second place midway. The battle at the front was ever changing and just a lap later he was bounced back to fourth. He remained calm and moved by Ryder Fox to get back to third and would hold the spot to the checkered flag. His 4-3 moto scores surprisingly put him in command of the championship heading into the third moto. His
next closest competitor was Antonio Calavano who had 1-10 moto scores. Barring a devastating moto, Johnson looked good for the championship. Johnson rocketed out of the gate in the third moto emerging from lap one in third. He was sitting pretty with Calavano buried back in tenth place. On lap two he moved up to second place but a bobble on the following lap would result in him bouncing back to sixth. With Calavano still behind him, Johnson decided to minimize his risks and would ride to a seventh place finish and a 250 C championship in his first year at The Ranch. The 4-3-7 scores would end up being plenty good enough to secure the win with everyone else being very inconsistent. The taste of glory will only motivate Johnson to train even harder to work his way up the ranks of the sport.
