The Rockford, Michigan rider narrowly got beat
out for the championship by James Povolny Jr who went 2-1-1. John didn’t give this championship away,
he fought tooth and nail. Moto #2 in the Senior class actually went right down to the wire, Grewe came back from 10 seconds behind
to finish just 1.5 seconds behind Povolny Jr.
John Grewe, we salute you. Most riders can only dream to go your speed and to do it at your age is that much more spectacular.
