DAXTON BENNICK
A historical ride put in by Daxton Bennick puts himself in the book of champions at Loretta Lynn’s. The first 65 (7-9) Limited class race saw Bennick have a tip over on the first lap and was 40 seconds behind the leader and was running in 34th position. The Ktm rider put his head down and began his push to the front of the field, passing riders in the bunches. By the midway point Daxton set the fastest lap of the race a 2:33.786 and got inside of the top 10. While his ride
was already amazing the young ripper was still on the charge and narrowly missed out on the podium by a near 2 seconds. The 4th place finish was more than good enough to keep him in title contention. Daxton who was repping the #8 was seemingly unmatched in the next two races of the class as he went on to win start to finish in both races and set the fastest lap each time. Competition was much more
stiff in the regular 65 7-11 class and Bennick had the chance to prove that he can run with the “regulars” of the class. Moto 1 started off good for Daxton and was running inside the top five after the first lap, a crash on lap two left him playing catch up for the rest of the race.
