Moto two, the conditions were just as disastourous, with the fastest laptimes in the 2:30’s; Ward, yanking an- other great jump off the line, set himself up well for a solid blitz through the mud. Although eventually yielding to a fifth place by race end, he sat well heading into round three for an overall podium finish. When the elements arise as they did prior to the championship round, everyone knows that consistency will bring home the pristine
number one plate. Following a briefing with the presidential candidate and fellow cabinet members, Ward knew what was at stake, and set out to bring glory aboard Air Force One. As Robby Reynard led the field with four points, both he and Stryker said tied at seven a piece. With that in mind, the gate fell and we were off, Ward taking the first lap in fifth, Stryker second, and Reynard, a mediocre 18th. The pitboard gave signals every lap, indicating where both he, and his competitors were positioned. Robbie began to inch his way forward, knewing the task at hand. Ward, vying his way into Stryker’s view, as he said just one spot ahead, acting as the dangling carrot. Reynard seemed to have the title in his hands, when all of the sudden, a grenade appeared to smoke on the backside of the course. Robbie was now out, and
it was the two stallions of Stryker and Ward chasing the most storied checkered flag in racing history. Although an insurmountable effort was put forth, Ward would eventually come up short, falling short of both Stryker and the title of one point. Nothing to be down about, Ward
would make both he and the Republican Party proud, taking cheers back to the Trump family.
