COLT NICHOLS
In just his second full year as a pro, Colt Nichols has escalated into being a top rider in the blink of an eye. The Cycle Trader Yamaha rider showed out during the 250 West Coast series this year with some very impressive lap times and performances topped by a second place finish in Oakland.
He struck the attention of media and fans across the sport and quickly became a fan favorite and someone easy to root for. His style and attitude was welcomed and well liked and he earned the
respect of the top championship contenders. The one problem with his game however is his starts. They just simply have not been good enough to completely take advantage of his full potential. He is frequently battling from behind and that has hurt him so far in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross championship. He has been hovering right outside the top ten so far but he has
