>> Bryce Stewart has been racing on and off for the last 5 years. Bryce has been able to put his privateer Yamaha into 5 Main events so far in his career and is looking to get some more in 2017. Unfortunately, Bryce has not been able to qualify for a Main Event so far this season and was going into Anaheim 2 with a goal. Bryce looked fast in Practice as the day program began late once again due to California rain storms. He was placed in 250 Heat 1 and was ready to get the night started. When the gate dropped, Bryce didn’t get the start he needed and rounded the first lap around 15th. He danced around this position for the rest of the heat and was not able to make it into qualifying position. In the LCQ, Bryce was determined to get into the 6th Main of his career and it looked to be a sure thing as he got a fantastic start and lead the riders for most of the race. He would happily take the win and the extra confidence. Bryce did his best to avoid the carnage in the first turn of the Main Event and was running near the back of the pack because of it. He was counted in 16th on the fourth lap as he was in a heated battle with a rider right behind him. The Anaheim track was chewed up at this point and something caused Bryce to make a mistake as he slipped back a couple of positions by lap five. Bryce was purely just trying to survive the night unin- jured as he rode around to finish a respectable 19th place in his 6th race ever.
