>> The grind never stops for Custom Power Sports Kawa- saki’s Steven Mages. One of the hardest working riders on and off the track, Steven has managed to travel the country promoting his clothing company Slaka Wear while still bring- ing the intensity to his training and racing. If he didn’t have enough traveling going on, his off-season consisted of two Canadian Arenacross races, two weekends of Supercross racing in the Netherlands and even missed Round Two last weekend to race a Supercross event in Germany. All togeth- er he earned 9 international podiums in just two months. His determination and desire to race is inspiring to many. Even with all the traveling and stress of running a business, Mages results never seem to suffer. Qualifying 7th in his heat race in Baltimore, Mages was lined up in the back row heading into Main Event #1. Somehow managing to pass a handful of top riders, Steven finished the first Main Event in 4th place. Al- most grabbing the holeshot in Main Event #2, Steven battled with Gavin Faith and Gared Steinke and would grab his first top three finish of the season with a 3red place. 4-3 scores gave him a 4th overall finish on the night.
