Cole Martinez is in his 3rd full
season as a pro. He has a solid team behind him and is very motivated to perform for the them. Cole has set realistic goals for himself in the 2016 Supercross season of being in the top 5. At the opening round this year he scored a 12th after starting in the back. With a good start we could very well see him in the top 5.
Cole had his work cut out for him before the night show started, but when the gate dropped for 250 heat 2, Cole was ready. He was 2nd coming into the first whoop section when..... RED FLAG. The frustration in Cole was clear to see and he went back to the gate for the restart. The second gate drop didn’t
go as well, but he was able to salvage a 6th to go straight to the main event, where he ended up a solid 11th.
