Another heat race win in the books for Savatgy that didn’t come easy due to a rider get- ting caught up in the starting gate causing five other riders to get stuck, him being one of them. Going into the main event with confidence of last weeks best career finish and two consecutive heat race wins Savatgy was hoping for another podium. Carrying that mind set into the race he starts off in second behind Craig and in front of the points leader Cooper Webb. Consistently moving closer to the leader Savatgy is charg- ing hard in his second place position showing the speed of a top runner. On lap six the infamous whoops eat him up and he goes down losing his podium spot and placing him back to sixth. Up front Craig and Webb start battling it out for the front spot giving Savatgy some extra time to catch back up from his now fifth place position. On the final lap he passes Decotis through the rhythm section finishing his race off with a fourth overall.
