MARTIN DAVALOS
Endlessly stuck on the roller-coaster ride of back and forth, up and down and side-to-side, Martin (Mar- Teen) Davalos has seen it all in the 250 class. Unfortunately for the senior veteran aboard the smaller bikes, being that it’s his tenth season, 2016 has become quite the lackluster season for the #49 Husqvarna
rider. Despite it being less than what Davalos envisioned, Martin has put himself within the top ten in eight moto’s, so speed and
fitness aren’t to blame. Where the finger should be pointed is the other eight moto’s that saw Davalos 14th or worse. After a decade
in the class, it doesn’t come down to luck or talent, it comes down to posting two solid finishes each week for twelve straight rounds.

Through eight of them, Davalos has three top-10 overalls and hopes for a 4th as the tour has headed west for the final west coast
stop at Washougal. It’s the home stretch and Martin’s push for 10th place in the point standings begins now.
