Throughout the assortment of gargantuan green firs and cedars that litter the grounds of Washougal MX
Park, a little known sprout is beginning to rare its head and bloom amongst the tallest in the forest. Although young in age, and in need of adequate resources to reach full growth, the bud is well on his way to fruition. The seed in this case is Mitchell Harrison, a Michigan Wolverine who developed a well-tuned amateur resume with a plethora of titles, amassing at events such as Loretta Lynn’s, Mini O’s, and the list goes on. Although in the midst of an amateur class that presented a greater parody rate, rather than standout’s, compared to year’s passed, Harrison has carried his name surprisingly well; enough so to latch on to the pristine Star Racing Yamaha squad. Flying to the Northwest this weekend, Harrison prepares to capitalize on the success he has accumulated thus far, and put in his season best result in the Evergreen State.
