It appears as though the orange brigade encountered a tad bit of difficulty to began his Washington endeavor, as he sat 37th across timing and scoring for lap number one. He’s always been looked at as an underdog, so coming from behind and working for every possible point was just a small reflection of what the Alabama native has endured to get to this point in his professional career. Riders in front acted as a dangling carrot, with Heath snagging them with an aggressive chomp. Pushing competition to the yellow markers, Harrison wasn’t letting anyone walk by passively, and would make his presence known with every position he obtained. As the checkered flag flew, the Auburn tiger in his blue and orange would solidify 19th position and look forward to round two. The Harrison camp was jumping with excitement following the moto two start, as the Heathmobile rallied to an eleventh place jump, fending off the likes
of James Stewart and Christophe Pourcel.. Harrison, duking it out amongst his idols, never faltered although he was barricaded amongst the greatest on earth. Shifting gear after gear, the young man pushed the envelope even in light of both the shadows and furious foxholes that were dug across mother earth. Literally leaping down hill after hill, the training was showing his true dedication to the sport. He would go on to finish 15th and 16th overall on the day.
