Plessinger seemed a tad off when the day program began at Washougal. He qualified inside the top fifteen but just barely. When 250 moto one began, Aaron didn’t get the jump he wanted and was just inside the top ten at the end of the first lap. Plessinger began to work on the riders in front of him and managed to climb up to 7th position by the halfway point. Then, a mistake dropped Aaron quickly to 9th and he
was in survival mode at this point. He would take 9th and go to the next moto ready to improve. When
the gate dropped for 250 moto two, Aaron got off to a similar start and was sitting tenth at the green flag. Aaron settled into 9th until the midway point where he was able to make a couple passes and secure the 7th spot. Then, a rider in front of Aaron had some bike troubles, which handed 6th position over. Again, another rider crashed and Aaron gladly took over 5th place. He finished there and would take home 7th overall at Washougal.
