Road America
It’s one of very few circuits in the world that still maintains it’s original configuration, not once adjusting or changing throughout the years. The legendary circuit contains fourteen corners and
boasts a length of more than four miles, making it the longest track that MotoAmerica will visit throughout the entire season.
It has a multitude of flat-out straight aways that will allow the Super- bikes to reach speeds nearing one hundred and ninety miles per hour, making it one of the fastest
tracks on the calendar as well. The track is admired by the majority of the riders for it’s many el- evation changes, the flowing sections of the course, and the long straightaways -- but it’s the hard braking areas that appease the spectators. Turn five, turn twelve, and turn one all present prime opportunities to back it in underneath a competitor and the relentless slipstream normally keeps the racing close all the way until the checkered flag. Not only does the facility include a state of the art road racing track, but it also contains a karting track in the infield that hosts weekly events as well as Supermoto and small displacement motorcycle racing. The property is home to an off- road track as well as a motorcycle school, providing spectators and visitors with tons of different avenues to quench their need for speed.
