>> Ferrandis has not only been impressive since coming across the pond, but also has been some serious competition to the veteran riders in the 250 class. Muddy Creek was a rollercoaster for Yamalube Start Racing Yamaha rider Dylan Ferrandis. First race of the day Dylan had an awesome 9th place finish, but bat- tling not only the heat but also struggling to come from the back of the pack Fer- randis struggled moto number two and came out with a fifteenth.
Needing to step it up for round five Dylan came to the Michigan with an iron fist. With a solid qualifying time Dylan set himself for the first race at Redbud. Shoot- ing out of the gate like a pistol Ferrandis placed himself in the front of the pack. Bobbing and weaving through the crowd Dylan lands into sixth place as the race begins. With his teammate Aaron Plessinger on his heels Ferrandis holds is wide open trying to keep his position and move on to catch Geico Honda rider RJ Hamshire. RJ’s bike shuts down and Ferrandis makes the pass into fifth place. Now onto Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Austin Forkner. Holding
it pinned Dylan chases down Forkner putting on the pressure. Trying to get the pass Ferrandis can’t get the speed to get around Forkner. Time runs out and Fer- randis settles for fifth place in race number one.
Just like moto one Ferrandis makes it in the front pack as they come off the gate. First couple laps are down and Ferrandis is stuck behind Hill and trying to hold off rookie Chase Sexton in sixth place. Osborne makes the pass on the rookie and is now chasing down Dylan. Dylan can’t fight off the veteran and Osborne passes Ferrandis. Not giving up and with true grit Dylan holds it wide open and passes Justin Hill. He’ll hold onto fourth place and race two comes to an end. Dylan Fer- randis will continue to pursue an overall first place finish as we head into round 6.
