>> Lone Star State native, Kyle Cunningham put in a consistent ride last weekend at Muddy Creek and was able to bring that consistence to Michigan this weekend at Redbud. Anticipation filled the Great Lake State air as the number 42 AutoTrader/ Monster Energy/ JGR Suzuki machine lined up amongst 39 of his toughest competitors. The American flag flew high above proudly patriotic fans and racers alike as the thirty-second card was activated and the gates were released. Kyle Cunningham came darting out of the first turn in the fifteenth place position. Redbud is notorious for it’s rough unpredictably, and Cunningham needed to use his skills in consistency to remain calm and smooth throughout the entirety of the moto. Cunningham did not disappoint and finished the first moto in the fourteenth place spot, a solid finish moving into the second moto of the day. Cunningham had his work cut out for himself in moto number two as he exited the first turn in twenty-fifth place. Kyle Cunningham did not allow his start to get the best of him as he started working his way through the pack and found himself in the nineteenth place spot by the halfway point
of the race. Even with the physical and mental challenges that come along with the second half of moto two at Redbud, Cunningham was still able to gain three more spots before the checkered flag waved and finished with a secure sixteenth place finish. With 14-16, Kyle Cunningham once again showed us consistent results, resulting in a fifteenth place overall finish at rough and rugged Redbud.
