CAMERON BEAUBIER
ATLANTA!
ROAD ATLANTA
“IT WAS REALLY GOOD TO START THE WEEKEND OFF WITH A WIN, IT’S GONNA BE
A GOOD BATTLE THIS YEAR”
He was able to maintain his advantage at the front of the pack throughout the last three laps, utilizing incredible braking technique to keep his rivals at bay as he clinched his first victory of the 2017 season. In the second race, Beaubier experienced the same sort of start as he fell back out of the top three in the early stages of the race. It was a battle of manufacturers as the Yoshimura Factory Suzuki duo duked it out for the lead and Beaubier battled with Josh Herrin for the final spot on the podium. At the midway point of the race, he was able to drop the Meen Motorsports rider and zero in on the Suzuki pair ahead of him with his sights set on victory. Beaubier became engulfed in a battle with Hayden throughout the last couple of laps and barely lost out to the Kentuckian, forcing him to settle for third position.
