Although Road Atlanta marks the second round of the 2017 MotoAmerica season, it’s the first time that a lot of the competitors will see the race track for the new season. The opening round of the series at Circuit of the Americas plays second fiddle to the MotoGP schedule, therefore shortening the program as well as the number of classes present. For many riders, Road Atlanta acts as the opening round of the season as they get the opportunity to compete against a full field of competi- tion and ride their regularly scheduled amount of sessions and races. This weekend marks the start of the Superstock 600 and the KTM RC390 Cup classes -- regularly two of the most exciting races of the weekend. Buckle up for the unofficial start of the 2017 MotoAmerica season, it’s going to be a good one!
