The New Yorker’s Yamaha
was a starting machine from the very first moto to the last, consistently putting himself out at the front of the field
from the drop of the gate. In both 250 Pro motos, Cooper grabbed a second place start and stalked his main rival of the weekend, Enzo Lopes, for the first couple of laps. He set the fastest lap in both races, establishing his dominance through pure speed and willpower, eventually working his way into the lead on his way to a flawless pair of moto victories. Cooper capped
off an incredible weekend
at Mammoth with another
pair of moto victories in the 450 Pro class, completing a streak of undefeated motos that stretched from Friday
to Sunday. Cooper narrowly outperformed Justin Hoeft
in his heat race, passing his fellow Yamaha rider early in the race in order to take the win.
