The Utah native got back to winning ways in his 250 B heat race, laying down a dominant performance to clinch the best gate pick heading into the championship moto. Marchbanks disappeared as soon as the gate dropped on the main event, snagging the holeshot with style as he checked out on the competition immediately. He had a gap of more than ten seconds by the second lap as he clocked the fastest lap of the race, controlling the pace with utter precision and dominance ahead of the competition. The Team Green Kawasaki rider cruised to the checkered flag with nonchalant composure, taking advantage of the massive gap that he accumulated in order to save some energy for the remaining motos to come. Marchbanks continued to put his Kawasaki on the top step of the podium, taking another unchallenged victory in the Open B/C class. He clearly had his starts dialed in by the end of the weekend as he pulled another tremendous holeshot on his Kawasaki, leaving himself a clear track to work with for the entire race. The Utah native laid down a metronomically consistent pace, stamping his dominance on the race from the get go, as he went onto clinch his third championship of the weekend with relative ease.
