>> Davi Millsaps was faced with a tough wrist injury last year that had him sitting on the sidelines for sometime. Coming back to the 2017 season he is using a different training regi- men, looking for that spot on the podium. The Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KTM team rider got a really good start to the 2017 season finishing off the night in seventh place. Moving on to round two, like any other rider, he was looking to improve. He started the night of racing on a good note getting sixth in his heat race. Going into the semi, Millsaps pulled the trigger and won the race. Carrying the confidence from a win, the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/KTM rider was looking to maintain his posi- tion within the top ten. The KTM rider had a smooth transition out of the gate and through the first turn. Sitting right outside of the podium Millsaps was fighting off some heavy hitters to maintain his fourth place spot. Unable to hold on he slowly be- gan to fall back until he eventually settled into seventh place. But the competition was fierce and they were putting the pres- sure on and he once again fell back a couple positions. Milk- sops was able to fight back up to eighth place where he rode out the remainder of the main event. The KTM rider finished off the second round of Monster Energy Supercross in eighth place, not quite as good as last week but he is keeping close holding onto those points.
