RYDER DIFRANCESCO
Ryder DiFrancesco ended the 2017 racing season with a slew of titles. The Team Dunlop Elite rider bagged another National Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in addition to two number one plates at the Motoplayground Race at Ponca City, placing his confidence at an all-time high heading into the 2018 season. DiFrancesco’s age allows him with the opportunity to race a couple of different classes at the Amateur Supercross, splitting his time between Supermini 1 and Supermini classes, the Mini Sr. class, as well as the 85cc (9-12) class. The Californian had no shortage of track time and he managed to stay con- sistently fast throughout all of it. DiFrancesco put together two heat races on his KX85 and stayed at the front of the pack in the Supermini class, setting him up for success in the main events. He scored a pair of fourth places between both Supermini classes, finishing behind older kids with more experience on the bike, but he dominated affairs in both of his 85cc classes, taking two main event victories back to Bakers- field.
