The Orange Brigade backed ride of Luke Fauser ended the 2017 racing season with a couple of overall podium finishes in the 65cc class at the Thor Winter Olympics. The Pennsylvania native also scored a third place at Loretta Lynn’s and a couple more podium finishes at the Baja Brawl, completing a success- ful first year on the 65cc machine. Fauser had an up and down performance in his heat races, scoring a first and a sixth place. Nonetheless, the KTM rider looked comfortable on the track fitted in Angels Sta- dium, riding with aggression and precision from one lap to the next. Fauser bounced back in both main events, grabbing good starts that allowed him to fight for the victory. The Pennsylvanian snagged second place in the 65cc (7-11) class and he rode out front for the majority of the 65cc (10-11) class, taking the overall win with ease.
