KAED KNIFFING
Kaed Kniffing ended the 2017 season with a couple of number one plates at the debut of the Ryan Vil- lopoto Amateur Motocross Cup. The Rides Unlimited/BTO Racing rider entered both Schoolboy classes as well as the 125 B/C class aboard his KTM machine, eager to get some good results in his home state. Kniffing showed his style and speed in practice, transitioning smoothly into the heat races where he was able to earn a win as well as a podium. The Californian set himself up in a good position for the main events, counting on his exceptional starting technique to give him an advantage. In the 125 B/C class, he put himself into second position behind Ty Masterpool and the two of them battled throughout the course of the opening lap. Kniffing pressed forward and forced himself into first position, forcing the Yamaha rider into a mistake as he escaped to the checkered flag with the overall victory.
