Jett Reynolds was the major headline of the first round of SXA racing in Anaheim, winning all four of the main events that he contested, including the Schoolboy 1 class aboard his Supermini. If four main event victories weren’t enough, Reynolds decided to go for five in Glendale by adding the Mini Sr. class to his list of scheduled classes. Things went well in the heat races and it looked as if the Team Dunlop Elite rider would dominate the standings again, finishing four out of five heat races in first or second position. The Team Green Kawasaki rider didn’t find the same fortune that he did in Anaheim when the gates dropped for the main events, only finishing the first Supermini 2 main with a victory ahead of Team Dunlop Elite teammate, Max Vohland. In his second main event, Reynolds went over the bars and slightly hurt his ankle, so he decided to hang it up for the rest of the day. Fortunately, it was nothing serious and he’ll be back on the gate for the Daytona RCSX at the begin- ning of March.
